Production Technician
Job Description
The technician main job would be rebuilding used machine this would require estimating the amount of time the making of a parts list cutting welding disassembling and reassembling of the machine, then prep work for paint and then paint.
Giving assists to the other technician with QC or building Conveyors and teaching less experienced technicians about Vecoplan equipment.
Spending time with the supervisor learning the filling system for project details, shipping, and other reasonability of the supervisor.
Accountabilities
· Must have the ability to lead the production team in time of absent of the production supervisor.
· Must be capable of finishing jobs in a timely manner.
· Ability to estimate the amount of time to complete jobs.
· Able to lead other technicians by example.
· Ability to learn supervisor’s role.
Requirements
· Must work well with others.
· Must have a well-stocked toolbox.
· Ability to weld/ cut.
· Ability to Read and understand mechanical drawings, disassembly, reassembly machines & conveyors.
· Ability to paint.
· Able to prioritize work that needs to be done.
· Self-starter
· Can do attitude.
