The Human Resources Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for the MSBA’s Human Resources functions. The position reports to the Human Resources Manager and supports recruitment, onboarding, off boarding, maintains accurate employee records, coordinates benefits and leaves administration, communicates changes in support of payroll processing, ensures compliance with employment policies and applicable laws, and responds to general employee inquiries. The HR coordinator helps coordinate employee engagement initiatives including coordination of training, maintains HR systems and documentation, prepares draft communications, tracks and monitors operational reports and supports the implementation of HR programs, goals and objectives.
Coordinate administration of benefits including employee benefits packets, enrollments, changes and terminations. Assists with annual open enrollment communications, informational presentations and overall distribution of benefits information.
Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Public Administration, or related field (HR); Business Administration with 1 to 3 years' experience in human resources administration, recruitment, training and benefits.
Multiple applicant tracking systems (ATS), performance management tools, and training platforms, supporting efficient recruitment and employee development processes.
Microsoft Suite of applications, enabling effective document creation, data management, communication, and workflow coordination.
Providing high‑quality customer service, responding to inquiries with professionalism, clarity, and a solutions‑focused approach.
Communicating clearly via email and in person, ensuring messages are accurate, timely, and appropriate for diverse audiences.
Active listening and coordinating tasks, enabling smooth collaboration, efficient workflow management, and strong team support.
Maintain confidentiality by keeping sensitive information private, ensuring trust, professionalism, and compliance with organizational standards.
Coordinate and facilitate events, managing logistics, communication, and execution to ensure successful outcomes.
