American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of ER experience for a 13-week night shift contract.

Emergency Department (ER) setting with 22 beds/rooms

Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position

Active TX or compact RN license required

Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC

Travel nursing experience preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible

Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

SAMA training is used at this facility in place of CPI; not required prior to starting

Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
