Job Summary
We are seeking a Full or Part-Time skilled and dedicated, licensed Full or Limited X-Ray Technician / X-Ray Technologist to join our medical team. This role involves performing digital X-Ray procedures in an urgent care setting with precision and care. Additional Clinical Medical Assistant experience is a plus. Benefits available for full-time employees.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform digital X-Ray procedures with adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and immobilization to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Assist providers with diagnostic evaluation by providing clear images and relevant clinical information.
- Operate medical imaging equipment while following all safety standards related to radiation exposure.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Document procedures accurately in patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent licensure required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Ability to operate digital imaging equipment units effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
