We are a growing friendly, fast-paced pet grooming salon that takes pride in delivering excellent care to pets and exceptional service to their owners. We are currently hiring for two key roles: Receptionist and Dog Bather (seasonal). Whether you're great with people, animals, or both — we’d love to hear from you.
Receptionist
As the first point of contact, you’ll create a welcoming environment for clients and help keep our day running smoothly. Ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities (seasonal position):
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly attitude
- Answer phones, respond to messages, and manage appointment bookings
- Check pets in and out for appointments
- Handle payments and maintain accurate client records
- Keep the lobby and front desk area tidy and organized
- Assist with light cleaning and supply stocking as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong phone and computer skills
- Organized, friendly, and professional
- Able to multitask in a busy environment
- Must be available to work weekends
Dog Bather (seasonal position)
This role is hands-on and perfect for someone who loves working with animals and doesn’t mind getting a little wet and hairy.
Responsibilities:
- Bathe, brush, and blow-dry dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Ensure animals are comfortable, clean, and safe
- Help maintain cleanliness of grooming and bathing areas
- Monitor pets for any signs of stress or health concerns
Qualifications:
- Experience handling dogs is a plus but not required — we will train the right person
- Must be comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels
- Physically able to lift dogs (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for animals required
- Must be available to work weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
