PreK Counts Lead Teacher

Job Description:
Stepping Stones Preschool is seeking a dedicated Site Director/Pre-K Counts Lead Teacher to join our team. We are committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment where children can develop and reach age-appropriate milestones. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate good judgment, engage effectively with children, and be a fun-loving, caring individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of young children.
Responsibilities:
Lead a high-quality Pre-kindergarten classroom for children ages 3-5
Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum
Ensure compliance with DHS, Pre-K Counts, and Keystone STARS
Support family communication and engagement
Maintain all required documentation and staff scheduling
Mentor assistant teachers and aides
Collaborate with Kindergarten Teachers for school readiness
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field required)
PA Teaching Certification
Strong classroom management and leadership skills
Supervisory experience preferred
