Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Design and execute innovative lesson plans that support early literacy, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional growth for infants
- Lead daily classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and families
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high-quality care and educational standards
- Collaborate with families to share progress, address concerns, and foster strong relationships that support each child's welfare
- Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, health protocols, and licensing requirements for infant care
- Incorporate specialized practices such as Montessori methods or early intervention techniques to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain detailed documentation of developmental milestones, assessments, and individualized plans for each child
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, special education needs, and classroom management techniques
- Maintain a clean classroom and environment for the children
Skills
- Extensive experience in classroom management within early childhood education settings, especially with infants and toddlers
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in infant care
- Proven ability to develop curriculum that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning
- Familiarity with special education strategies and early intervention approaches for diverse learner needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners
- Ability to plan engaging lessons aligned with educational standards such as Montessori or other progressive methods
- Skilled in behavior management techniques that foster positive behavior and emotional well-being
- Experience working in daycare centers or private preschool environments preferred
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessments
- Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and inclusive practices
