Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paralegal with extensive experience to join our dynamic legal team. Duties
- Assist attorneys with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development across multiple practice areas
- Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw; ensure all files are organized, updated, and easily accessible
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information for estate planning, family law, immigration law, workers' compensation law, and other practice areas
- Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, preparing exhibits, and assisting with trial preparation
- Draft legal memos, summaries, and reports that clearly articulate case facts and legal issues
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and maintaining organized records of all case activities
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating communication among team members
Requirements 3-5 years of paralegal experience only
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple legal disciplines such as family law, personal injury law, criminal law, and/or immigration law
- Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis; experience with legal case management software is preferred
- Familiarity with document management systems like iManage and PCLaw; ability to handle large volumes of data entry and document review efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence; proofreading and transcription abilities are essential
- Effective interviewing skills to gather comprehensive client information across diverse practice areas
- Exceptional clerical experience including filing systems and administrative support functions such as phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Ability to perform detailed legal research independently while collaborating seamlessly with attorneys and team members
