The Recruitment Specialist functions as a relationship builder and brand ambassador for the Clark Associates Companies. This role regularly meets with managers in the organization to understand current hiring needs and create a strategy to help fill those needs, which can include, but is not limited to, creating or editing job postings, providing paid marketing suggestions, spearheading external headhunting, and/or helping with hiring through interviewing.
A primary focus of this role will be supporting the attraction and recruitment of retail talent, including store management and other customer-facing leadership positions, while supporting hiring needs across multiple business functions and Clark companies.
This role may also represent Clark at a variety of recruiting events, including local college career fairs, community events, and on-site visits. This may include occasional travel, sometimes overnight, for in-person recruiting events. The ideal candidate will be hybrid, based out of the Lititz, PA office.

Work with hiring managers to define hiring criteria and candidate profiles, and provide best-practice assistance in writing job descriptions and postings.

Partner with retail operations leadership to understand current and future hiring needs and develop proactive recruiting strategies for retail leadership positions.

Build and maintain talent pipelines for store leadership and other customer-facing management roles through networking, direct sourcing, referrals, and community partnerships.

Source candidates via LinkedIn or other online tools, and contact them directly to recruit for specific hard-to-fill positions across multiple functions and Clark companies.
- Develop a strong understanding of retail leadership competencies, including customer experience, team development, operational execution, and business performance management, to effectively assess candidate fit.

Represent Clark Associates at retail-focused networking events, industry associations, community organizations, and leadership development programs to enhance brand awareness and attract leadership talent.

Attend in-person and virtual recruitment events primarily throughout Pennsylvania with some travel to Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, or other states within driving distance. Prepare all materials and logistics for recruitment events.
- Manage and interpret data metrics related to recruiting and hiring and organize reports for key stakeholders.
- Work within our internal ATS system and help all stakeholders with posting positions and hiring workflow.

Make connections with hiring managers across all companies to expand services to all departments.
- Be responsible for data collection during and after recruitment events to suggest strategic changes.
- Monitor all social media platforms that promote Clark branding, including Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Google, and Facebook, and share feedback with management.
- Assist the Recruitment team with coordination and communication for the summer internship program.
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Recruitment Manager.

Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.

A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).

Previous experience with headhunting, direct placement, leadership recruiting, or retail recruiting is helpful. Experience sourcing and recruiting management-level talent is highly valued. Analyzing job board performance metrics and optimizing recruitment advertising spend is preferred.
