Busy periodontal office in Hutchinson, KS looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our hygiene department
We are a growing, progressive periodontal practice serving the central Kansas area seeking to grow our team. Our ideal new hygienist possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a thorough knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene, excellent human relation skills and a desire to work well as part of a team. Compensation for this position will be based on experience. Full / Part-time position available.
Job duties include:
Performing dental hygiene procedures in a periodontal practice
Assisting the dentist
Communicating dental treatment options to patients
Explaining home-care dental procedures to patients
Providing patient care with compassion and patience
Qualifications:
Kansas State Dental Hygiene license
Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene required, Bachelor's Degree a plus
Strong understanding of dentistry and dental hygiene best practices
Knowledge of LANAP Protocol - PerioLase a plus
Superior communication and patient care skills
Pay: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
