Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (Mon–Fri)
Job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Patient Financial Representative Senior to join our Revenue Cycle team. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for professionals with 2+ years of experience in medical billing, patient financial services, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle operations. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving patient accounts, handling insurance and billing inquiries, and ensuring timely account reconciliation. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service and communication skills, strong knowledge of healthcare billing processes, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve patient account balances and billing inquiries.
- Perform insurance follow-up, claim resolution, and payment reconciliation.
- Collect and verify patient and payer information for account resolution.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal departments.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance guidelines and billing processes.
- Review accounts to identify issues and take appropriate resolution steps.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Document account activities and maintain proper records.
- Provide professional customer service while handling financial inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Healthcare or medical billing education is a plus.
- Relevant healthcare experience is preferred.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
