We are hiring Field Service Engineers on behalf of our client, a prominent provider of energy management and power monitoring solutions. This role is explicitly designed for a highly technical specialist with dedicated experience supporting critical electrical infrastructure.
Location: Remote- 75% travel required
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm (potential overtime)
Compensation: $80,000K-$115,000K
Responsibilities
- Provide expert on-site technical support, commissioning, and maintenance for power management systems and electrical infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex hardware and software issues on power monitoring devices and energy management systems.
- Serve as a key technical advisor to clients in mission-critical environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal power efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with data center operators, facility managers, and engineering teams to integrate power monitoring solutions.
- Conduct client training sessions on equipment operations, data interpretation, and system software configuration.
- Document precise service reports, system diagnostics, and field modifications according to engineering standards.
- Maintain flexibility to travel to client sites to handle emergency escalations and scheduled preventive maintenance.
Qualifications and Key Skills
- Strong technical background with dedicated field service engineering experience explicitly supporting data centers, power management systems, or critical electrical infrastructure.
- Target experience level is approximately 3+ years of focused industry exposure, prioritizing direct technical relevance.
- Deep practical knowledge of electrical systems, power quality metering, energy management software, or industrial automation.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to solve complex technical issues under pressure in active data center environments.
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills, acting as a collaborative, customer-focused champion who aligns seamlessly with team culture.
- Ability to interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
