Job Title: Continuous Improvement Engineer (Air Handling Units / Data Center Cooling)

Lead the improvement of mission-critical cooling systems.
We’re looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence in the manufacturing of air handling units and data center cooling equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on improving quality, throughput, and cost in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across production
- Improve assembly, electrical integration, and testing processes for HVAC/cooling systems
- Drive waste reduction, cycle time improvements, and productivity gains
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality to solve problems and implement solutions
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions
- Implement and sustain 5S, standard work, visual management, and value stream mapping
- Track and report KPIs (efficiency, quality, scrap, downtime)
- Support new product introductions and process standardization
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operations leadership
- Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
- Experience in industrial equipment, HVAC, or data center infrastructure preferred
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams
- Hands-on, shop floor mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Bonus If You Have
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Experience with air handling units, chilled water systems, or data center cooling
- ISO 9001 or similar quality system experience
