Philadelphia Integrative Psychiatry is a team of well-rounded psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, counselors, nutritionists, and mental health specialists based in Devon, Pennsylvania.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Executive Function Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, special education, counseling, coaching, or a related field and a passion for helping individuals enhance their executive functioning skills. This role involves working one-on-one with teen, young adult, and adult clients to develop personalized strategies for improving organization, time management, planning/prioritizing, goal setting, and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct informal assessments, review previous assessment data/records shared, and complete an intake with the client to identify clients' executive function strengths and areas for growth.
- Develop and implement customized plans tailored to each client's unique needs and goals (students).
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance clients’ executive functioning skills either virtually or in person in our Devon location depending on client needs.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic and achievable goals and monitor progress regularly.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to help clients overcome challenges and maintain progress through quick email, text or virtual check-ins.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and any other relevant professionals who are part of a client’s support team to ensure consistency and meaningful support across multiple settings.
- Maintain detailed records of client sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in executive function coaching.
- Focus on supporting clients with ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse conditions impacting executive functioning skills.
- Attend required department and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master’s Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Coaching, or a related field
- Proven experience in executive function coaching or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of executive functioning skills and strategies for improvement.
- Leverage digital platforms and AI-powered tools to support executive function (EF) skill development, including organization, time management, task initiation, and follow-through
- Experience working with clients with ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills especially collaboration with other practice providers.
- Ability to build rapport and foster a positive, supportive coaching relationship with clients.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- This candidate will be able to see a minimum of 15 clients per week knowing that it may take a few weeks or months to fill that caseload. Once comfortable in the position, up to 25 clients per week will be expected.
- Ability to work mornings, afternoons and evenings. Candidates must be able to accommodate 2-3 days a week from 3pm-7pm virtually or in person.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
