Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. This role is cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions, including order fulfillment, product assembly, quality control, and shipping. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, maintains high quality standards, and is willing to learn multiple responsibilities to support the team.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Verify products, quantities, and order details.
- Maintain fulfillment accuracy and productivity goals.
- Prepare orders for shipment while following company standards.
Product Assembly
- Assemble products according to company procedures.
- Follow work instructions and quality standards.
- Maintain clean and organized assembly workstations.
- Report equipment or product issues promptly.
Quality Control
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products.
- Identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Document quality issues and communicate findings to supervisors.
Shipping & Receiving
- Prepare shipments using shipping software.
- Label and package products securely.
- Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Maintain organized inventory and shipping areas.
General Warehouse Duties
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory organization.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Cross-train and assist in other departments as business needs require.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience with fulfillment, shipping, assembly, or quality control is a plus.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, USPS, or shipping software.
- Inventory management experience.
- Mechanical aptitude for light assembly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
