The Child Care Teacher is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental growth of young children in a play-based learning environment. This role includes planning and delivering age-appropriate, hands-on activities, supporting children's social-emotional development through positive guidance, and maintaining open communication with families. The educator also assists with daily caregiving routines, monitors developmental progress, ensures compliance with licensing and center policies, and collaborates with colleagues to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom community.

Always actively supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Develop and implement age-appropriate play-based lesson plans that include hands-on learning engagements and foster development.

Implement positive behavioral guidance techniques to foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports children's emotional and social growth.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.

Assist children with all caregiving needs, including meals, naps, and hygiene needs.

Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and identifying any areas of concern.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive educational setting.

Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies regarding health, safety, and education standards.
