We are on the hunt for a People & Culture Coordinator based in our Denver or San Diego offices to support the growth of our teams through best-in-class people operations, employee engagement, and HR support initiatives.
This role is focused on supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, L&D, compliance, and culture initiatives. The ideal teammate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and brings energy and ownership to managing multiple HR projects while building strong relationships across all teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT INCLUDE:
Employee Relations & Compliance:

Draft, revise, and implement Performance Support Plans (PSP’s) and other disciplinary documentation.
- Guide managers through the employee relations and corrective action process’.

Ensure compliance with multi-state (especially CA) and federal labor laws.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and help ensure internal policies reflect current regulations.
Onboarding & Offboarding:

Coordinate new hire onboarding, including document collection, system access, and orientation scheduling.

Conduct exit interviews, ensure timely removal from systems, and manage final pay in compliance with applicable laws.
Benefits Administration:

Support employees with benefits enrollment, eligibility, and troubleshooting.

Liaise with brokers and benefit providers as needed.

Assist in annual open enrollment and tracking of benefit utilization data.
HR Operations:

Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HRIS records.

Support internal audits and compliance reporting.

Assist with policy updates, internal communications, and documentation
-
Assist with L&D initiatives, such as tracking training completion or coordinating soft skills workshops.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

Bachelor’s Degree required

2-4 years of progressive HR experience preferred

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required
-
Experience with Gusto, ADP or similar HRIS platforms is preferred

Hands-on experience with onboarding, benefits, and offboarding processes

Strong documentation and professional communication skills

High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS OF ROLE*:

The job does require the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation, as well as attend occasional client meetings and site visits.
