Are you looking for a new or supplemental part-time psychological career outside of a clinical setting? Vermont Disability Determination Services (VT DDS) has a great opportunity for psychologists who want to expand and extend their expertise by performing administrative medical reviews of disability applications in a collaborative team environment. This position allows you to use your clinical knowledge in a consulting role with no direct patient care responsibilities, and it provides a chance to make a difference and support our mission to make timely, accurate, and fair disability decisions for Vermonters.
Candidates must have a current Vermont doctoral level psychologist license in good standing. Experience in forensic psychology is helpful. Must be adept at navigating through large volumes of medical records and adapting to ever-changing software applications used in the DDS case processing system. Program training and support are provided, and once fully trained, telework is available. For additional information, please contact Kirsten Moore, DDS Professional Relations Officer, by email: [email protected].
About our Division: Disability Determination Services provides the medical eligibility for applicants filing for disability benefits under the Social Security Disability Program, the Supplemental Security Income Program, and Medicaid disability.
