Overview
USA Auto Recycling Inc. is a growing used auto parts recycling company specializing in quality recycled auto parts. We are looking for an experienced Auto Parts Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous auto parts sales experience and strong automotive parts knowledge. Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred. This position involves assisting customers, preparing quotes, processing orders, and supporting basic office and accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates with experience in used auto parts recycling, salvage yards, or dealership parts departments are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone, email, eBay, company website, and walk-in inquiries.
- Identify the correct auto parts using inventory systems and automotive catalogs.
- Prepare quotations, process orders, invoices, and customer payments.
- Coordinate with the dismantling department to ensure parts are available and removed on time.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, shipping, and after-sales service.
- Maintain accurate customer, sales, and inventory records.
- Assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including filing, data entry, and payment records when needed.
- Support general office operations and work closely with other departments.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous auto parts sales experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle applications.
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn inventory and office software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
