Job Summary
STEP Head Start is hiring a dependable Cafeteria Aide to support meal prep and food service for preschool children. This role helps maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment and ensures meals are prepared and served on time.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.
- Follow food safety and CACFP standards.
- Wash/sanitize dishes and equipment.
- Assist with dietary substitutions.
- Track temperatures, inventory, and expiration dates.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
- Ability to obtain PA clearances.
- Physical exam & TB test before hire.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. and meet physical demands.
- Safe food handler certification within 6 months.
