Operations Manager (Office Manager) — Pool Pros Construction
Location: Remote / Work From Home — must be local to the St. Petersburg, Tampa, or Wesley Chapel, FL area

About the Role
Pool Pros Construction is looking for a detail-oriented, tech-comfortable Operations Manager to run the administrative backbone of our pool construction and remodel business. This is a work-from-home role, but you'll need to be local to the Tampa Bay area to support the team and occasionally coordinate in person.
We're not just looking for someone to keep the trains running — we want someone who will look at how we do things today and help us make it better. If you enjoy building smarter systems, tightening up processes, and being the person who keeps a busy construction office organized and moving, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including receipts and basic bookkeeping support
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Track and maintain customer material selections, keeping records accurate and up to date
- Collect and organize paperwork required for permitting
- Coordinate material ordering and help manage vendor communication
- Manage the team calendar, scheduling, and coordination across office and field staff
- Identify inefficiencies in current office systems and processes, and help design and implement improvements
- Support the team with general administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior office manager, operations, or administrative experience — construction or home services industry experience a plus
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple moving projects at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing interactions
- Comfort with (or ability to quickly learn) project management/CRM software (JobTread)
- A proactive mindset — someone who notices what's broken or inefficient and takes initiative to fix it
- Ability to work independently in a remote role while staying closely connected to the team
- Must live locally in the St. Petersburg, Tampa, or Wesley Chapel area
Big Plus
- Design, decorating, or styling experience — an eye for color, material, and finish selection is a major advantage for this role, since you'll be closely involved in tracking and supporting customer selections.
