Qualifications for all positions include the ability to work as a team member within this department AND all other departments, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license with good record, working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, including pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, or lifting up to 50 pounds. Position Summary
The Campground Food Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering food, beverages, ice, firewood, and campground store items to guests throughout the campground in a safe, friendly, and efficient manner. This position plays a key role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders, beverages, and retail items to campsites, and recreational areas.
- Verify order accuracy before delivery and ensure timely service.
- Operate golf carts, utility vehicles, or company vehicles safely throughout the campground.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests.
- Collect payments and process transactions when required.
- Assist with order preparation, packaging, and loading of delivery items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate with kitchen, campground store, and management staff regarding orders and guest requests.
- Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with stocking, inventory, and other campground operations as needed.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of campground layout and site locations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous delivery, customer service, food service, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to safely operate golf carts, or delivery vehicles.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to load, unload, and transport food and supplies.
- Ability to navigate uneven terrain and campground roadways.
Work Environment
- Outdoor campground and recreational facility setting.
- Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold temperatures.
- Able to work evening, weekend, and holiday’s.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of campground operations and guest services.
- Familiarity with mobile ordering or point-of-sale systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interact positively with guests of all ages.
Pay: $13.00 per hour
