At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician to work with a leading manufacturing company in Pierceton. This role is vital for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and quality of die casting and trim dies used in production.

- Monday through Friday, 10:45 pm to 7:00 am

Essential requirements for Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician
- Do you have experience repairing or maintaining die casting dies, trim dies, or similar tooling? Briefly describe.
- Can you read and interpret blueprints, cooling diagrams, and work instructions?
- Are you able to use measuring tools (tape measure to 1/32", micrometers, calipers)?
- Do you have experience with shop equipment (drill presses, grinders, saws)?
- Are you comfortable working in high heat (300-600°F) with personal protective equipment?
- Do you have experience replacing ejector/punch pins or similar parts?
- Any experience with welding, forklifts, or overhead cranes? Please specify.
Role for Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on die casting and trim dies.
- Inspect, clean, and polish die cavities and surfaces to ensure quality standards.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and replace damaged parts to restore functionality.
- Maintain water lines and cooling systems for optimal machine performance.
- Prepare tooling for shipment to external vendors when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the tooling team to support production continuity.
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies.
- Adhere to quality management system standards.
