Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Assembler to join their team in Jacksonville. This is a hands-on opportunity to work in a dynamic production environment assembling pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in firearms assembly or gunsmithing, with strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble firearms including pistols, rifles, and shotguns in a production environment
- Use basic hand tools to complete precision assembly tasks
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Inspect and test assembled components for proper fit, finish, and function
- Identify and communicate any defects or issues promptly to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly assembly goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly; gunsmithing experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort using hand tools and performing repetitive tasks
- Clear communication skills to report issues and follow instructions
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts
- Monday to Thursday
- Overtime as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
