Alcatraz East Crime Museum is seeking suspects for a Sales & Social Media Marketing Coordinator:
The museum’s unique galleries burrow deep into the studies of criminal intent, criminal profiles, the penal system, victims, crime prevention, forensic science, law enforcement and the Judiciary Branch of government. The museum is 25,000 square feet spread over 2 floors and includes over 100 interactives.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with social media content creation on varying platforms
- Manage guest comments and inquiries on varying platforms
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in marketing
- Generate new ideas to increase social media following
- Assist with programs and marketing ideas
- Maintain and grow the group sales portfolio
- Manage the group process from booking to arrival
- Work with third-party ticket vendors and referral affiliates
- Develop and manage promotional activities or programs on-site and off-site
- Attend events and expos on behalf of the company
- Research/write about various subjects for future exhibits and programs
- Provide on-site support for media inquiries and interviews
- Organize and manage promotional items
- Submit monthly reports to monitor growth and performance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years sales and marketing experience in the tourism industry
- Excellent communication skills, including writing for educational purposes
- Flexibility to work weekends and nights as necessary
- Strong public speaking skills and willingness to go on camera for media
- Clean driving record
- Microsoft Office efficiency
- Interest in varying crime/CSI subjects
- Social media experience required, including TikTok.
