Snapshot of Your Day
As a Rotor Coil Manufacturing Specialist working the Weekday 1st shift (5:00am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday), you’ll work in a safe, climate‑controlled manufacturing environment alongside teammates who collaborate to produce precision parts for large generators. Your day involves reading blueprints, preparing materials, operating machinery, and performing hands‑on assembly work that directly supports production quality and reliability.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and engineering standards.

Operate machinery—including setup and adjustments—to support production workflows.

Use hand tools to build, form, bend, punch, grind, cut, braze, buff, and weld components.

Work with testing, electrical, and measurement equipment to verify part accuracy.

Apply materials, solutions, and curing processes (including oven use) according to instructions.

Assemble and install parts by interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work package specifications.
What You Bring

High school diploma/GED is required; technical training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to follow instructions, safety signage, and documentation.

Moderate computer skills and comfort using digital tools.

Strong manual dexterity and coordination for handling and assembling parts.

Close attention to detail to prevent assembly and quality errors.

Solid judgment and comprehension to follow written and verbal instructions and make decisions within established methods and procedures.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
