Commercial Refrigeration Technician – San Antonio/Austin
Apogee Mechanical | Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience
We need a tech who diagnoses the problem — not one who guesses and swaps parts till it works.
Apogee Mechanical works commercial refrigeration and HVAC in Austin and San Antonio — supermarkets, commercial kitchens, high-stakes accounts. When equipment goes down, it costs our customers real money. We need it fixed right the first time.
If you're the tech other guys call when they're stumped, this is your role.
The job:
- Run commercial refrigeration service calls solo — diagnose, repair, communicate with the customer
- Own the call start to finish, not just show up and leave
- Back up other techs when needed
- Refrigeration is the core job. HVAC skills are a bonus.
What you need:
- 5+ years hands-on commercial refrigeration (racks, walk-ins, display cases)
- Real diagnostic experience — not just parts-swapping
- EPA certified
- Clean driving record
- Can talk to a customer and be trusted
Mostly HVAC with light refrigeration experience? Not the right fit — no hard feelings.
