Panchito El Sobador is a trusted, community‑focused bodywork practice specializing in sobadas/traditional manual therapy for injuries, mobility restoration, relieving muscle pain, tension, and sprains. We serve clients who need real, effective hands‑on care, from athletes and labor workers to individuals recovering from injuries or seeking preventative maintenance. Our environment is respectful and centered on healing.
We are expanding and looking for skilled, reliable, and compassionate massage therapists to join our team.
Training in sobadas/traditional manual therapy techniques and cupping will be provided.
Position Overview
Therapists will provide hands-on therapeutic bodywork including muscle manipulation, joint mobility work, tension release, and utilize traditional manual therapy techniques. You must be confident working with clients experiencing pain, limited mobility, or chronic discomfort. Strong communication, professionalism, and client care are essential.

Responsibilities
- Tailor treatments to meet each client’s needs
- Perform sobadas, full body massages, and cupping therapy
- Assess client concerns and provide safe, effective treatment plans
- Create and maintain SOAP notes for each client
- Proper cleanliness and organization of the massage room
- Provide a welcoming and safe environment for all clientele
- Educate clients on aftercare, stretching, and injury prevention
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality service
Qualifications
- Active Oregon massage therapist license required
- Must hold massage therapist liability insurance
- Experience in traditional manual therapy is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work with clients experiencing pain, injuries, or mobility issues
- Strong hands-on technique, endurance, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Must be reliable, respectful, and committed to client wellness
Pay: $31.25 - $62.50 per hour
