Tall Pines Preschool is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who has a genuine love for working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, and reliable, with strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Responsibilities include:
- Create a warm, safe, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities.
- Foster children’s social, emotional, and academic growth through hands-on learning and play.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to provide the highest quality early childhood education.
- Follow all licensing regulations and Tall Pines Preschool policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children is preferred.
- DCF required training (or willingness to complete upon hire).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
