Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to restore functionality promptly
- Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and other mechanical equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to guide repairs and installations
- Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system updates
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and construction drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently
- Leadership qualities to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance activities when necessary
- Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and collaboration with team members
- Relevant certifications or training in HVAC/R, refrigeration, electrical systems or related fields are preferred
