We Offer a base hourly wage plus a commission on the products you sell!
Base rate is based on experience.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting automotive accessories that meet their needs, offering detailed product information and solutions.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment to ensure product availability and organization.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipt issuance.
- Engage in negotiation with customers to close sales effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Maintain knowledge of automotive changes to provide credible advice.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting new products, special offers, and seasonal promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
- Use organizational skills to keep the sales floor tidy, stocked, and visually appealing while adhering to safety standards.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally with proper phone etiquette, providing information about products or directing calls appropriately.
- Follow up with customer quotes and questions.
- Help keep showroom areas and restrooms clean.
- Alternating Saturdays will be required.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales within an automotive repair or parts store is highly preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, or automotive service enhances your ability to assist customers effectively.
- Proven track record in inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment is advantageous.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or POS systems will be beneficial.
- Strong communication skills coupled with excellent negotiation abilities are essential for success in this role.
- Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
