Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood developmental milestones, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure safety, engagement, and positive behavior management strategies are consistently applied.
- Collaborate with families to support children’s progress in areas such as special education needs, early intervention strategies, and overall child welfare.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning.
- Incorporate age-appropriate teaching techniques for toddlers and preschoolers, including classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Support children’s emotional well-being through effective communication skills and personalized tutoring or intervention when needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private school environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, literacy education, and Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Experience with classroom experience involving lesson planning, standardized testing, tutoring, and teaching physical education is preferred.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is required; additional qualifications in special education or early intervention are a plus.
