Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and safety-focused CDL Instructor to join our team. This position is available as full-time or part-time/seasonal, depending on candidate availability and preference. The CDL Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality classroom and behind-the-wheel training to students pursuing their Commercial Driver's License, ensuring all instruction meets applicable regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective classroom and field instruction to all students
- Operate and adequately inspect all CDL equipment
- Demonstrate safe work practices at all times
- Maintain working knowledge of correct training practices and procedures for CDL licensing
- Stay knowledgeable of applicable regulations governing Commercial Driver Licensing
- Provide instruction on other related training topics, as needed
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Certificate
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team environment
