As our Sales & Events Coordinator, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable guest experiences while developing your career in luxury hospitality.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in hotel sales, weddings, and event management. You'll work alongside experienced sales professionals while gaining hands-on experience that can lead to future opportunities in Wedding Sales, Group Sales, or Event Management.
Sales & Events Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for new group and event inquiries by receiving qualifying, and routing sales leads while ensuring every prospective client receives a prompt, professional first impression.
- Create and assign master bill (PM) accounts for groups and events.
- Create room blocks and reservation links.
- Manage group room block inventory and support reservation changes and booking requests.
- Distribute weekly reports.
- Support the Wedding Sales Manager with tastings, event detailing, site tours, and final walkthroughs.
- Coordinate wedding details and prepare event resumes.
- Communicate group and event details with clients and hotel departments.
Group Billing
- Manage billing records, receipts, payment documentation, and final billing reconciliation.
- Manage contract-based financial requirements, including deposits and attrition.
- Monitor payment status and assist with payment resolution.
- Post group-related revenue and charges.
- Prepare complete final billing documents with supporting charges.
- Coordinate final bill review and invoice distribution.
Qualifications
- Hospitality, hotel, catering, event coordination, or administrative experience preferred.
- Highly organized with strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional service.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office; CI/TY, OPERA, Delphi, or Marriott systems preferred.
- Accounting or billing experience preferred.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate across departments.
