Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain elements.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical systems repair techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics when required, demonstrating versatility across different vehicle types.
- Follow dealership or industry standards for auto body repair, auto estimating, and auto service documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair.
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; however, familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems is highly valued.
- Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues on various vehicle models.
- Knowledge of transmission repair, auto body repair techniques, and auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Experience working with both gasoline and diesel engines—especially diesel engine repair—is essential for this role.
- Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools while adhering to safety standards.
