We are seeking candidates for the following roles:
- Campus Educational Diagnostician (4 openings: 2 Elementary, 2 Middle): Assist on campus by administering assessments, conducting observations, participating in ARD meetings, and consulting with staff to develop effective educational plans.
- Evaluation-Only Diagnostician (2 openings): Based at the Special Education building, travel throughout the district to conduct assessments for students at all levels.
- Play-Based Assessment Diagnostician (1 opening): Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, evaluating ECI students (aged 2-3) using play-based methods at Garcia Leza Primary. Devote three days to assessments and two days to comprehensive report writing.
Your background should include:
- Active Texas Educational Diagnostician Endorsement (quick online verification available)
- Experience in testing, observation, ARD participation, and consultation within a school setting
- For play-based roles, prior exposure to early childhood assessment is highly desirable
- Strong teamwork skills, flexibility, and a commitment to accurate reporting
