Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Autobend Operator to join our die-making team. In this role, you’ll help transform blueprints into precision cutting dies, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency every step of the way.
What You’ll Do:
- Read and interpret blueprints or dimensioned drawings
- Identify and set up knife, score, perf, and zipper rules from CAD files
- Accurately record time and materials used per job
- Perform maintenance on the autobender as needed
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
Shift Information:
- Training on 1st shiftthen move to 3rd shift
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with cutting die construction and rule installation preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong math skills (fractions & geometry)
- Ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16”
