Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations, adhering to food safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for setting up tables, moving supplies, or clearing dishes safely following proper lifting practices
- Support food handling and serving duties with professionalism and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with team members through internal communication channels to coordinate service activities
- Assist in setting up tables with appropriate tableware and ensuring proper table setting standards
- Support catering events or special functions by helping with food preparation, serving, or cleanup as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety regulations, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service
- Experience with table setting, bussing, cleaning, and general restaurant operations is advantageous
- Familiarity with catering services or hotel industry standards is a plus
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Need legitimate social security number & allowed to work in US
