Full Job Description

Skill: API Gateway/Platform Engineer
Location: Wilmington, DE
Experience: 8 10 Years

8-10 years of experience in platform engineering, backend development
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building microservices
Experience designing and deploying RESTful APIs
Practical experience with OAuth2/OIDC authorization frameworks
Hands-on experience deploying and managing APIs through API Gateway solutions (AWS
API Gateway, Kong, Apigee, or similar)
Experience running and operating workloads on Kubernetes, ideally Amazon EKS
Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with AWS
Understanding of API security best practices (OAuth2)
Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to have - knowledge of Akamai GTM
