KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Management for warehouse staff, facilities, and logistics
● Directly supervise, coach, and develop DC Team Lead(s), establishing clear parameters for delegated shift crew oversight and day-to-day picking, packing, and shipping coordination.
● Delegate authority to DC Team Lead(s) for the warehouse lockdown/alarm process and special project coordination during Warehouse Manager absences.
● In conjunction with the Manager Operations, contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
● Work within Logistics Dept to ensure proper inventory levels between warehouse locations
● Recommend solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
● With the assistance of the Manager of Operations conduct regular cadence of performance management meetings with logistics staff
● Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports
● Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement
● Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock
● Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process
● Interpret trends and analyze and review data.
● Make recommendations, assist in the development of and implement operational improvements to address warehouse KPIs (pick accuracy, fulfillment lead time, damaged rates, etc.)
● Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
● Accountable for inventory and warehouse teams - maintaining and improving inventory accuracy.
● Alignment of operational activities and performance to sales forecast and anticipated seasonal demand.
● Management of staff schedules, with support from DC Team Lead(s), ensuring warehouse and inventory teams are properly staffed to meet demand.
● Prepare site level operational performance reporting for Manager of Logistics and Operations for consolidation into C-Suite Reporting.
● Oversee and manage cycle count and physical inventory counts within warehouse footprint.
● Ensure warehouse environment are in compliance with local and state safety and regulatory requirements
● Perform root cause corrective action (RCCA) processes for inventory variance issues.
● Conduct regular performance check-ins with DC Team Lead(s), providing coaching and feedback to strengthen shift-level leadership.
● Maintain and update operational process training materials for new hires
● Train new functional team members on warehouse and inventory processes native to organization.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
● 2-3 years experience managing warehouse operations and inventory
● Business Central experience is preferred but not required
● Experience supervising, training, or mentoring team leads or supervisors preferred.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
