The French Maternal School is looking for a motivated Assistant Teacher to work with children ages 18 months to 2 years.
Daily work hours are 8:15 am to 3:15 am or 35 hours per week with option to work overtime, in the aftercare program from 3 to 5 pm . Our academic year is 207 days from Mid-August to the first week of June. 27 paid holidays, health and dental insurance.
The candidate must speak French fluently/near fluency and be able to communicate in English as well orally.
The Assistant Teacher will work with a Teacher to help support the daily operations of the classroom and supervise the children. The Teacher will primarily be responsible for planning and scheduling daily activities, supervise the children, communicate with families, and work with the Assistant Teacher.
Minimum Required Qualifications for Assistant Teacher: Minimum of an Associate Degree in any field or High School + CDA.
