If you possess these qualities, then a career in security may be for you! American Sentry Security is currently seeking professional, unarmed security officers for a site in Olathe, KS. Posts can be indoors or outdoors, office complex, roving property. Must be able to stand for a prolonged period of time. This post is on a site where American Sign Language is used. Proficiency in ASL preffered.
Positions are full or part time with all evening and overnight shifts available. Hours may be extended during holidays and special sales events.
Minimum Qualifications for a Guard:
- current state Security License, or ability to obtain such
- must be at least 21 years of age
- must have at least a high school diploma or GED
- be able to pass extensive background check (no felonies or major misdemeanors) and random drug screening
- possess a cellphone capable of supporting our timekeeping application
- American Sign Language proficiency will earn premium pay rate
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year of experience in armed or unarmed security
- Military background
- Law enforcement or corrections experience
- ASL proficient
