Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a medical-surgical (MS) setting
- Strong patient assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and detail-focused approach to patient care
Schedule & Hours:
- Contract position with flexible shifts available, including days, evenings, and nights (as needed by the unit)
- Full-time hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop/implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide patient education and support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
- Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the hospital stay
