Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Philippi, WV 26416
Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3 × 12-hour shifts
Weekend: Every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Long-Term Care contract assignment in Philippi, WV. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care while monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, documenting care, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC patients/residents.
- Assess patients and monitor changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Develop and follow individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
- Maintain a safe and supportive patient-care environment.
Requirements
- Active RN License required.
- Current BLS Certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
- LTC/SNF experience preferred.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.
Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Every other weekend
- 13-week contract with possible extension
