Elmbrook of Atoka is actively seeking a reliable and compassionate LPN or RN to provide exceptional care to individuals requiring long-term support. Working under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, you will play a vital role in delivering professional, person-centered care to our residents and skilled nursing patients.
This role is ideal for a nursing professional who combines strong clinical skills with patience, empathy, and a dedication to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding nursing care and daily support to long-term care residents.
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with protocols.
- Monitor and document patient health, promptly reporting changes to supervising staff.
- Create a supportive, reassuring environment through empathy and attentive care.
- Uphold all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in nursing practice.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to promote a patient-centered approach.
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in Oklahoma.
- Proven experience providing patient care in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Calm, compassionate demeanor, even in challenging situations.
