Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Coffee Production Associate to support the daily operations of our coffee roasting and production facility. This position plays a vital role in ensuring freshly roasted coffee is packaged, labeled, organized, and prepared for delivery to our café locations and wholesale customers.

This role supports roasting operations, packaging, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and order fulfillment while helping maintain the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Essential Responsibilities
Production & Packaging
- Package roasted coffee into retail and wholesale bags according to company standards.
- Weigh, seal, label, and prepare products for distribution.
- Assemble customer and wholesale orders accurately.
- Prepare products for shipment or delivery to café locations.
- Maintain production schedules to meet daily demand.
Roasting Support
- Assist with coffee roasting operations under the direction of the Lead Roaster.
- Measure and stage coffee beans for production.
- Monitor roasting batches and record production information as instructed.
- Assist with cooling, blending, and storing roasted coffee.
- Maintain consistency and quality throughout the production process.
Inventory
- Receive and organize incoming inventory.
- Rotate inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices.
- Monitor packaging materials and production supplies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Notify management when inventory levels are low.
Warehouse & Facility Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Clean roasting equipment, packaging equipment, and workstations.
- Assist with preventative maintenance of production equipment.
- Follow all sanitation and food safety procedures.
Quality Control
- Inspect finished products for quality, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity.
- Ensure production meets established quality standards.
- Report equipment issues or product concerns promptly.
- Follow standardized production procedures to maintain consistency.
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with café teams to fulfill inventory needs.
- Assist with deliveries between company locations when needed.
- Support seasonal production increases and special projects.
- Perform other production and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, food production, or coffee experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain if needed).

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
