The Stackhouse is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse & Shipping Assistant to help keep our warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations running smoothly.
This is a part-time, in-person position that involves physical work throughout the shift. You'll help receive inventory, organize warehouse materials, package customer orders, and support the daily operations that allow our team to serve artists and photographers across the country.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, shows up on time, and enjoys being part of a team. Experience is a plus, but reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail are what matter most.
Responsibilities
Shipping & Fulfillment:
- Package customer orders according to The Stackhouse quality standards.
- Verify orders for accuracy before shipment.
- Prepare shipping materials and maintain packing stations.
- Assist with daily shipping and fulfillment operations.
Warehouse & Inventory:
- Receive, organize, and store incoming inventory and supplies.
- Restock production and shipping areas as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization projects.
- Maintain clean, accurate, and organized storage areas.
Warehouse Maintenance:
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Sweep, mop, remove trash, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Help maintain warehouse equipment and workstations.
- Assist with additional warehouse projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Reliable and consistently punctual.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while following established procedures.
- Comfortable working as part of a team.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency.
- Able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and carry materials throughout the shift.
- Able to read and use a tape measure.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday through Friday
- 12–24 hours per week
- Day shift
- No weekends
