We are looking for a motivated Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist who excels at problem-solving, process improvement, and collaborative teamwork. Compensation & Benefits. You will love the independence of managing your own RCM, while still having support and collaboration from the billing teams at our other locations
- Hourly Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).

A Day In The Life:
No two days are exactly the same. You will be reviewing accounts receivable reports, prioritizing unpaid claims, and following up with insurance carriers. Throughout the day, you will post payments, reconcile accounts, research claim denials, and collaborate with providers to ensure billing accuracy. You will use your problem-solving skills to investigate discrepancies and communicate with patients and insurance representatives. At the end of the day, you will know your work directly impacts the financial health of our practice.
What You'll Do: Subject but not limited to:
- Manage accounts receivable, payment posting, collections, and account reconciliation.
- Submit, monitor, and follow up on Medicare and commercial insurance claims.
- Post ERA's and EOB's into the EHR system
- Investigate, appeal, and resolve denied or unpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Review billing for accuracy using CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines.
- Generate accounts receivable aging reports and analyze financial trends using Excel.
- Partner with providers, billing staff, and insurance carriers to resolve discrepancies.
- Respond professionally to patient and insurance billing inquiries.
- Additional revenue cycle, Insurance AR, month end reports
- End of Month patient statements and AR reporting
- Front Desk Coverage when needed
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of medical billing and accounts receivable experience required.
- Specialty: Dermatology or physician specialty practice experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of CPT, ICD-10, insurance benefits, and claims processing.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and medical billing software. Greenway Intergy is a plus
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organization, and strong customer service abilities.
- Bonus: Familiarity with basic accounting principles is a plus.
