Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble deli foods with precision, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide product recommendations, and upsell items to enhance their experience
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation guidelines and food handling protocols
- Manage cash register operations including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and handling credit card payments
- Operate kitchen equipment safely for food preparation and ensure all food is stored properly to prevent contamination
- Assist in inventory management by restocking deli items and monitoring product freshness throughout your shift
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is highly preferred
- Strong skills in food preparation, handling, and safety management to ensure quality standards are met
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members to deliver outstanding service
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Experience operating kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $14.00 - $14.25 per hour
