This JFC Global exclusive role is offered on a permanent, hybrid basis up to 100k plus bonus, based on experience.
This position is ideal for a Systems Engineer who:
- Has at least 7 years of external client-facing network consulting experience, or complex multi-site in-house experience, or as a one person shop managing everything.
- Possesses broad expertise in routing, switching, firewall, and cloud technologies
- Is capable of managing complex projects involving M&A, multi-site setups, network expansions or separations
- Has hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, Dell, and HPE solutions
- Can troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Active Directory, and cloud integrations effortlessly
- Is comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team
- Holds or is willing to pursue certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Virtualization or cloud certifications
Key responsibilities for the Systems Engineer include:
- Building proficiency with company systems, tools, and client environments
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining advanced IT infrastructures for optimal performance and security
- Acting as an escalation point for other Tier 1/2 engineers and help desk
- Responding to client support requests across diverse infrastructure complexities
- Troubleshooting network and server issues with a proactive approach
- Monitoring system health and applying preventative maintenance
- Escalating complex problems swiftly to minimize business impact
- Participating in on-call rotations
- Documenting all support activities accurately within ticketing systems
